What are the main features of Legal Expenses Add-On Cover?

This valuable add-on helps you recover uninsured losses from the third party if you’re involved in a non-fault incident. It also includes cover for personal injury, motor legal defence costs, trailer loss or damage, and loss or damage to personal property – offering you well-rounded protection for greater peace of mind.

Main Features

    • Recover uninsured losses and costs from the person responsible for the accident following a road traffic accident
    • Provides motor prosecution defence cover up to £100,000 on any one claim
    • Includes personal injury and uninsured loss recovery up to £100,000 for non-fault road traffic accidents (excluding theft or fire) which occur within the period of insurance
    • Includes trailer loss/damage when attached to the vehicle
    • Includes loss or damage to your own personal property which is in/on/attached to the vehicle
    • Includes death or injury to you whilst getting in or out of the vehicle
    • Please note that claims must be reported within 180 days of the incident occurring
    • For cover to operate you must have a motor insurance policy in force
    • Covers the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands, the European Union, Albania, Andorra, Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Gibraltar, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Monaco, Montenegro, Norway, San Marino, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey.
